FiBLU is a new generation app‑based, fiber certification solution that shifts intelligence from fixed hardware to a smartphone app. FiBLU fundamentally changes how fiber testing is done—making it faster, more collaborative and dramatically more cost‑effective over the life of the network.
PDF Reports
UniBLU can generate PDF certification reports directly from the app. Users can select individual test results or an entire set of results and generate the required report without first transferring the project to a separate PC-based reporting environment.
Reports can also be personalised with the organisation’s corporate logo, which UniBLU automatically incorporates into the header of generated PDF certification reports. This supports professional documentation directly from the field and helps shorten the process from completed testing to project handover.
Cloud Sync
UniBLU integrates with Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive to create a synchronised testing environment for FiBLU projects. Projects, Jobs, users and test results can be stored within the organisation’s own cloud account and synchronised across authorised users and devices.
When an Operator completes and saves a cloud-based test, the result can be synchronised automatically, allowing Managers and Viewers to see project progress without waiting for manual end-of-day transfers.
Project Management
UniBLU organises FiBLU testing around Projects and Jobs. A Project represents a customer, contract or broader body of work, while individual Jobs define the certification type, cable, connector, label scheme, test configuration and other parameters required for testing.
Cloud-based role management further extends this workflow. Owners and Managers can create projects, configure Jobs, assign Operators and Viewers, control access and monitor test progress – bringing field certification into the wider project-management process rather than treating testing as a standalone activity.
Customer Reports
FiBLU certification results can be imported into TestDataPro, AEM’s results management software, allowing fiber results to be combined with copper certification data from TestPro or NSA within a single reporting environment.
The resulting report covers the complete cabling installation rather than the fiber portion alone, recording the test results, the equipment used, the test configuration and application compatibility. This gives the end customer proof of quality, protects the installer and supports the manufacturer’s system warranty.
